We went out of town last Holy Week 2022, for a short vacation. We went to Sual Beach in Pangasinan to swim. It was usually a 5-hour drive, but it took us almost 6-7 hours because of the Holy Week traffic.

We went for a swim after we got to our destination. My sisters and I, together with our cousin, took pictures and did Tiktoks together to have fun. We also played in the sand and made sand castles together.

The waves of the sea were quite normal. It was relaxing and soothing. The sand was really beautiful and purely soft.

Of course, I cannot miss the opportunity to take an Instagrammable picture with this rock formation beside the sea. You just have to be extra careful when climbing up here, for these rocks are quite slippery. This is also where some portions of the waves hit, so you will feel their impact, but not enough to make you fall.

We also tried the banana boat for experience. I can say that it is quite scary, especially when you have “thalassophobia,” or fear of deep oceans and sea creatures. Despite that, I still managed to enjoy the ride and even jumped off the boat when it was our time for a quick swim in the deep mid-sea. It was an unforgettable experience for me because I managed to face my fears unexpectedly.
